The room was fabulous with all facilities lovely plentiful breakfast and had an electric kettle, central heating and a work desk. The staff were both approaching and welcoming.

Wonderful stay, nothing too much trouble, we would recomand. We enjoyed the double room which was new-fashioned with all facilities lovely plentiful breakfast.

Perfectly clean and hip new place, exceptional staff. Very comfy beds, a work desk, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a radio were a nice touch. Central location, around 10-15 minutes walk from Castle Park. Easy check-out was useful.

I had a really enjoyable time and would stay here again. Reasonably clean place, superb service, attentive staff. Handy location within walking distance of a ruined medieval castle. There was a great restaurant not very far from the hotel. Welcoming reception.

Very early check-in and late check-out, plus the staff was exceptionally courteous. The king room that we stayed in was appropriate and panoramic. It was nice to have a bar in the lobby. Alcoholic drinks, consistent wifi were a nice surprise. Great value, it was overall clean.

Exceptional value for the area. The staff were responsive, the breakfast was gorgeous and everything was good. I enjoyed a tasteful decor and beautiful furniture. Having coffee, TV and fridge was very convenient. Top location, near The Plague Stone. Efficient check-in & excellent service.

All in all a fairly comfortable hotel and VERY POSITIVE stay. Picturesque location, great value, very very helpful staff, super breakfast. The room was perfect, well equipped and the bed was lovely. I loved its central heating, a radio and a hairdryer. Impeccable service here.

rooms were with standard decoration and very clean. plenty of restaurants to eat close by, like four & twenty that was only 10 minutes' walk away. plus, you can use the free parking.

Totally recommend it and would like to stay here on the next trip. Lovely staff and great breakfast with a good choice of options. The hotel is in the lake district. We were greeted by wonderful host. Our guest room had a heating system, a study table and a radio: )

The hotel's setting was near such tourist attractions as castle park. 10 min walk from Penrith train station. We appreciated ashberry guest house.

The Dog Beck, where you can eat, is a short walk to the hotel. We would love to go back, no complaints. A great base for exploring Penrith...
